Choosing a menu construction
A single sheet suits a short list or seasonal offer. Wire binding keeps a multi-page menu together; rings or a folder make individual pages easier to replace. Staples and rivets also need an agreed page count and update method. Choose construction before layout.
Materials, lamination and daily use
Choose paper or board to suit the construction and how often the menu is replaced. Agree weight, surface and lamination together: a disposable insert and a reusable menu need different specifications.
Tell us how often menus are wiped, whether they contact water and where they are stored. Surface lamination does not seal the entire item: edges, holes and folds matter. Select finishing and cleaning instructions for the order; replaceable sheets may be more practical for frequent updates.

Send dimensions, page count, quantity, binding and finishing preferences. Coordinate bar and cocktail lists, table tents and seasonal inserts in one style. Check names, ingredients, portions and prices for readability; design work is quoted separately.

Preparing your artwork
Supply pages in reading order and identify replaceable sections. Provide folder dimensions and hole positions when applicable. Test QR codes at final size and check prices and names against the approved list.
General requirements: 2 mm bleed on each side, important content at least 3 mm from trim, CMYK images at 300–450 dpi and outlined fonts. Folds, binding and custom dielines need additional agreed allowances.
